Murray Green, K3BEQ, in his radio shack. That’s a Kenwood TS-940S installed in the console. A Kenwood TL-922A amplifier is to the left of the console and out of photo range. The antenna is a Hy-Gain TH-7, seven element tri-band beam for 10/15/20 meters at 70 feet on a Rohn 25G guyed tower. Murray holds the ARRL DXCC #1 Honor Roll which means he worked and confirmed all of the countries on the ARRL DXCC Countries List.

Cpl. Richard T. Hartnett, KA3KYW (now WA3RTH), of the Berwyn Heights, MD., Police Department was the subject of a feature article in the Gazette newspaper. The story is about Richard's professional accomplishments. Unfortunately, the staff reporter did not mention his Amateur Radio affiliation.
