L-R: The five “Founding Fathers” of The Green Mountain Repeater Association: Murray Green, K3BEQ, Robert Anderson, W3RTA, Robert Saslaw, K3ZSB (SK), George Meng, WA3OLQ, and William Kisse, WA3GJD. The group first met in 1971, decided to put up the area’s first 2 meter autopatch repeater on 146.610 and subsequently selected a name for the Association. Pioneers in their own right.
